At 23:41 on August 24, 2021, the communication Technology Test Satellite 7, which was jointly developed by Shanghai Space Power Research Institute, was successfully launched aboard a long March-3B carrier rocket from Xichang Satellite Launch Center.Later, the solar wings of the satellite were successfully deployed, and the satellite operated in a stable and good condition, marking the successful launch of the satellite.

Communication Technology Test Satellite 7 is mainly used for satellite communication, data transmission and other services, and carries out relevant technical tests and verification.
